| Male Urinary Incontinence
Male Urinary Incontinence can arise as a result of prostate surgery or radiotherapy treatment. Approximately 5% of all prostate cancer survivors will experience total incontinence and as much as 35% experience partial incontinence.
We provide pre- and post-operative treatment strategies to help prevent and improve urinary incontinence. All treatments are preceded by a consultation with the physiotherapist. While physiotherapy may not cure urinary incontinence it will improve quality of life; physically, psychologically and socially.
