| Cameron has
held numerous positions as a physiotherapist, both clinically
and academically. He was physiotherapist to local and
international sporting teams and consulted within internationally
recognized, multidisciplinary sports clinics. He has
served as team physiotherapist for Australian Rules
Football and to the Australian snowboard team for the
World Cup in 2005.
He recently published an article
on specialization in physiotherapy and served on council
for two years with the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
During his final year in Australia, he held a clinical
teaching position at the University of Melbourne before
moving to Canada.
Cameron graduated
from the University of Melbourne, Australia with degrees
in Science and Physiotherapy. He returned to the University
of Melbourne several years later to complete his Masters
in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2003.
Cameron’s primary interest and significant portion
of his Master’s degree was in the treatment
of shoulder injuries and pain, including neck and upper
back disorders. Cameron spends considerable clinical
time assessing and treating difficult shoulder problems
as well as devoting some time to working as a community
physiotherapist.
Outside of clinic work, Cameron enjoys a variety of winter and summer sports and dedicates some additional time to teaching and fitness consulting.
